Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 2 June 2026
These Terms govern your use of VaultScan (the “Service”), operated by Omniselect di Nicola Alessi, VAT IT13233920969 (“we”, “us”). By uploading a project or paying for a scan you agree to these Terms. Questions: omniselect.ita@gmail.com.
The service
VaultScan performs an automated, AI-assisted security analysis of a code project you upload, and returns a “fix prompt” summarising suggested changes. The Service is sold per scan: there is no subscription. Pricing is shown before payment, based on the number of source files detected.
Your responsibilities
- You confirm you own the uploaded code or are otherwise authorized to submit it for analysis.
- You will not upload content that is unlawful or that infringes third-party rights.
- You are responsible for reviewing, testing and applying any suggested change. Apply fixes in a safe environment before production.
Payment, withdrawal and refunds
Payments are processed by Stripe. Because a scan is a digital service that begins immediately and consumes computing resources, by starting the analysis you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal once the analysis has begun (EU consumer law).
If a scan fails for technical reasons on our side and no report is delivered, contact us for a re-run or a refund of that scan.
No warranty
The Service is provided “as is”. The report is informational and highlights likely issues and suggested fixes; it is not a guarantee that a project is free of vulnerabilities, nor a substitute for a professional security audit. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a scan is limited to the amount you paid for that scan. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Data & privacy
We never persist your source code; it is deleted after analysis. See our Privacy Policy for details. VaultScan uses no cookies.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by Italian law. To the extent permitted, the courts of Italy have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
Changes
We may update these Terms; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
